More nasturtiums, I’m starting to think my appreciation of them is getting out of hand!
I keep telling myself that I’ll put some colour into my work but again it hasn’t happened. You’d be surprised how easy it is to get caught up in the moment of drawing dots. This was a pretty large drawing too, it takes up most of an A3 piece of paper. I was hoping that size would force me to add some paint so I didn’t wear my wrist out stippling! That didn’t happen. It felt almost like a meditative exercise, slipping out of every day business and into a space and place where all that was required was black and white. That can be a much required peaceful experience.
