Together

This ink and collage has whispered alot of things to me while I’ve been making it.

There’s been alot of stop and starts, but once I saw its story it was an easier path to finishing it.

I’ve called it Together because the relationship between these lavender flowers struck me as a great example of how we as humans are also tied together but can feel isolated at times.

The one bloom (my favourite) which is off to the side, is unaware of the collective it is part of. I don’t want to get anymore in-depth than that because I like art to speak to people in its own way.
