More Calendula

With a mass of new calendula flowers growing outside, I didn’t feel too bad about making a handful of them sit in a vase to become the newest drawing matter.

I’m not sure yet if they might have some ‘halo’ effects put on tomorrow, but incase I ruin the original drawing I thought it best to scan it first.

So here is what we have so far. It’s about A4-ish in size, on my favorite heavy watercolour paper, 638gsm, which is great because I was getting a bit carried away with colour and ended up having to wash some off. This paper is incredible!
