This drawing has been a bit of a journey.
It started as a goat drawing originally, then I thought a goat and a sheep might be a good pairing (I read a parable that left me a bit confused, so I wanted to sit with it for a while.)
Then after I finished drawing the goat, and started on the sheep, I kind of fell in love with that more.
I’m still doing the familiar stippling drawing technique. It made me so happy to see it come together. It felt sculptural and tactile, which surprised me as it’s drawn on Procreate.
Lately I’ve been bombarded with the “you don’t have to be an Artist to make money from Art” type reels and advertisements on social media. Aaaaaaaargh it’s frustrating!
I’m happy for others to do whatever they want, create what they want, but being a traditional Artist who is stepping her toes into digital Art, it’s a weird thing to watch unfurl. I’m using the same device and POD supplier that a lot of those ‘creators’ use. Which is kind of alien as well as I usually like finding a piece of paper, tearing it, staining it, making it a new unique surface. But when everyone is on the same kind of screen, then getting another machine to print out the ‘product’, where’s the uniqueness in the process?
Anyway I’m rambling a bit! Here’s a few images I took along the way.

I’ve put it in my etsy shop (link on shop page) as a giclée print.
Here’s a mockup of how it would look. I couldn’t resist the coffee pot. 😁

Anyway it’s probably best I don’t keep going on and on about Sheep.
Next I think is a tiger moth. 🌞 Here we go!
