I’m not sure if I’ve identified this plant right, but either way, I’ve had a great day drawing it.

The collage sections were a big favourite. Out came my trusty Modern Welsh Poetry book, that was falling apart when I bought it from a second hand book shop. There is an abundance of beautiful words in it, all begging to be used. Here’s a peek at what it looked like before drawing over…

such powerful words.

It’s almost a pity to draw over the top of them, but hopefully it still carries and shows some of its poetic nature in the finished piece.
